Daycare

Overview

Montessori Children’s House Daycare has been providing quality child care since 1988. We provide every child an opportunity to grow and learn at their own pace in a warm and loving environment. The daycare is fully licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and serves children from 2 to 5 years of age.

Montessori Children’s House offers daycare on non-school days to students enrolled at Montessori Children’s House, students and faculty at Lewis and Clark Community College, and to the general public. Daycare services are available year round. Daycare is open from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Admissions

Montessori Children’s House Daycare is open to anyone, regardless of race, creed, or color.

For admissions please contact the main office and schedule an appointment to take a tour of the daycare. At this time you will be given an information packet containing an application. There is a $25 enrollment fee that should accompany your application. This fee is nonrefundable. If enrollment is full at the time of application, the applicant’s name will be placed on our waiting list. When space becomes available in that child’s age group, the parents will be notified by the main office. Priority will be extended to siblings of currently enrolled children.
